Problems with the links on this site.

There were a number of problems with the links on this site,  specifically the links from the lessons to the .pdf version of the lesson (more suitable for printing)  were not there nor were the links from the "Subject" pages to the lessons.  I didn't know why this has happened so I modified and republished the first two Subject pages and the links appeared, similarly I modified the first two lessons on the first Subject page and the .pdf links have reappeared.

Because of the setup of this site I would have had to individually modify each page and there are nearly 400 of them however after a bit of mucking around I twigged that the last load of the site may have used the wrong source.  I reloaded the site and the links appear to be working again.

The software I used to build this version of the site is nearly a decade old now and I do have newer software.  At one point it seemed to me that the best way to fix "the problem" was to rebuild the site from scratch and  as there are incompatibilities between this site and the new software I've decided to do that anyway.  It's just that I can take things a bit slower now.

I've tested recreating this site in two versions, HERE and HERE.  The content will be the same as this site but the layout has changed.  Also I will no longer need the .pdf documents as, thanks to web page features I didn't know about when I created this version of the site, the layout of the printed version of the lessons differs from the on-line version.  I started on the second new one first so there's more in it, however I prefer the first one (with the peaceful picture).

If you search the site using our Search Form you'll eventually be pointed to the copy of lessons in the old and new version of the site.  Feel free to access whichever copy you're happy with.   Comments can be addressed to me either via our Guest Book or via the e-mail address in the footer.

Welcome to the Word Internet Bible College. This site provides sound, inspiring and practical teachings from the written Word of God for Christian leaders, aspiring Christian leaders and those wishing to have strong foundations in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Word Internet Bible College teaches from an Evangelical, Charismatic and Pentecostal perspective.

The course is divided into various subjects.  Some of these subjects focus strongly on how God's written Word relates to our everyday practical living, aiming to provide inspiring Biblical principles about how to be daily filled with the Holy Spirit. Other subjects include interesting and relevant facts from Church history which give readers samples of the preaching of great revivalists and of various false teachings which damaged God's Church.  All subjects provide readers with detailed understanding of the main teachings of the Bible.

The course notes of the college are suitable for those who would be able to complete a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor Degree course at an accredited Bible or Minister's Training College. But the notes were specifically written using English simple enough for most everyday readers.

The text of all lessons is freely accessible from this site.  Follow the Subjects List link to find the list of subjects, and from there follow the links to the various lessons.  To each lesson is linked a .pdf version of the lesson for easy printing.

The author Graham Fitzpatrick has taught for many years at Tabor College - an interdenominational Christian College which offers certificate, diploma and degree level courses in Australia to ministers and aspiring leaders.  He has also taught at two other Bible Colleges.  He has a Minister's Credential with a Christian Denomination in  Australia.  Since 1984, he has written numerous Christian books, the best known being "How to Recognise God's Voice".
